Frankston Hospital: A crane collapses on an inpatient unit

A crane has collapsed at Frankston Hospital, with greater than 50 individuals reportedly having to be evacuated.

A caller, who recognized herself as Sally, advised Melbourne radio station 3AW on Wednesday morning that a big crane had fallen on the hospital’s inpatient unit.

Footage from 3AW exhibits the crane crashing into the roof of the hospital.

“The place has been evacuated,” the caller stated.

“It (the crane) is fairly large,” he stated.

A spokesman for Hearth Rescue Victoria confirmed the experiences.
