Nurses strike as NSW premier ‘not listening’

Michael Whaites, of the NSW Nurses and Midwives Affiliation, says they’re placing as a result of Premier Dominic Perrottet is “not listening to the nurses and midwives of this state”.

Hundreds of nurses will be a part of 24-hour walkouts deliberate from this morning in NSW because of the state authorities’s inaction to handle staffing and workload points.

“We have been making an attempt to inform him all 12 months that the state of affairs is dire in our public hospitals and he is clearly not listening to us,” Whaites informed Sky Information Australia.
